When I came across the hobby of people watching, I thought it was the weirdest thing a person could do with their life. Why would you focus on others when you have your own life to live? Envy was the word that came to mind when I first began to understand the concept of people watching. Now disregard everything I just said. People-watching is one of, if not the most useful, tools for predicting the actions of people you meet.

When I walk into any library on my campus, the feeling of dread overpowers any other feeling I might want to have other than dread. I imagine any library as a forest. I'm not environmentally friendly in any way, but seeing libraries and imagining the forests it could be scares me a lot.
